About the Role/s

Join a very busy and resilient team where no one day is the same. The positions involve the delivery of clinical services, community nursing care, health education & promotion, health screening clinics and facilitation of Well Child programmes.

We have two vacancies for permanent full-time Registered nurses or part time working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
We are looking for applicants with at least 3 year of practical experience, fluent in at least one other Pacific language and English.
We offer a very competitive base salary package, with previous experience to be considered for higher pay scale.

Full drivers licence is a requirement, and a reasonable knowledge of Pacific Islands Community is essential.

 

About you
Current Practising Certificate and a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care Speciality (Well Child/Tamariki Ora) Nursing (for those applying for the Well Child Nurse position)

 

- Experience in the working with Pacific families and health sector, including working with a clinical workforce

- Passionate about being part of a team to influence positive health change within Pacific families
- Fluent in a Pacific language
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Are professional and a have caring manner

We are a primary healthcare provider focussing on the health and well being of Pacific People residing in the Hutt Valley.

We are focussed on providing quality community based nursing care services and disease prevention and management to a population of approximately 12,000 Pasifika people. In addition, we work closely with Pacific Community groups promoting and implementing Community Development programmes as one of our key health strategy. We work collaboratively with General Practitioners and hospital settings alongside our PHO partners and funders.
