Primarily, the role involves implementing the ‘Aiga Centred’ (Family) model of care under our Family Wellbeing and Social service contract with Oranga Tamariki.
The role involves supporting high needs Pacific children and their families, working alongside our Thrivingcores Well Child service team to implement strength-based programmes that meet the client and family need.
While our preference is to engage a qualified Social worker, we would also welcome application from community workers with experience in navigation and client’s service facilitation to the most appropriate service available working closely with other service providers.
Full professional training will be provided including social worker and community worker registration support for practising certificate.
We offer a very competitive base salary package, with previous experience to be considered for higher pay scale.
Full driver’s licence is a requirement, and a reasonable knowledge of Pacific Islands Community is essential.

PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NURSE (Registered Nurse)
This is a permanent fulltime position. The position involves the delivery of nurse led clinical services, community nursing care, health education & promotion, health screening clinics and to support the Thrivingcores Well Child service.
We are looking for applicants with at least 1 year of practical experience, fluent in English and understand at least one other Pacific Island language.
We offer a very competitive base salary package, with previous experience to be considered for higher pay scale.
