Help grow Pacific Wellbeing - Seeking 3 Board Members

We need three new Board Members to represent important communities and to help drive the direction and performance of Pacific Health Services Hutt Valley:

​

• Niuean Representative

• Secretary of the Board

• Youth Representative

These positions present an exciting opportunity to help guide the strategic direction of a values-led, community-driven organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Pacific peoples across Te Awakairangi (Hutt Valley).

​

Rooted in Pacific worldviews, culture, and service, PHSHV is seeking individuals who are passionate about community development and bring a strong understanding of health and social services. Skills in governance, leadership, financial oversight, or clinical knowledge will be highly valued. Candidates who can contribute both cultural insight and strategic capability are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a paid role.

​

Your application will need to describe why you are applying and what you bring to the role. You should describe your standing in your community and the support you have from representative groups in your community.

​

Applications will be considered by a panel of current Board members who will interview you to discuss your application and to get to know you better. The panel will recommend to the Board which is able to appoint a new Board Member at any time. Later, the Annual General Meeting is asked to endorse the appointments along with existing Board members who are continuing.
